Toronto, ON (January 13, 2010)- Point Alliance staff volunteered a half day at the Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto, sorting, checking, boxing and loading food donations that would be distributed throughout the city.
“It is important to give back to the community that you work in”, states John Zarei, Chief Technology Officer at Point Alliance. “Quite honestly, I was shocked at some of the statistics that we were told, such as, that there were over one million client visits to the food bank in the Greater Toronto Area in 2009 and the fact that 35% of food bank clients are children. We were happy to pitch in and will definitely volunteer our time again soon in support of this good cause”
