After many years of participating in Daily Bread Food Bank’s Food Sort Challenge, Point Alliance is proud to announce that they will be the exclusive sponsor of Daily Bread’s upcoming 2015 Food Sort Challenge. This popular annual event challenges organizations to come together in a race against time to sort through 63,000 pounds of food into 35 different categories. Daily Bread expects to raise up to $50,000 with every $1 enabling the organization to distribute $5 worth of food through a network of 142 member agencies and 200 food programs.

Daily Food Bank is the largest provider of food relief in the greater Toronto area. Distributing food to hundreds of food banks and meal programs in the city, they also provide support through job training, research and education.
The Food Sort Challenge will be held on January 15, 2015.
