Job Description:
In this role, you will be required to design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications in a SharePoint environment. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. The SharePoint Developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.
  • Design and Develop SharePoint functionality according to specifications
  • Debug SharePoint applications and workflows
  • Optimize SharePoint code
  • Mentor junior SharePoint developers
  • Participate in team code-reviews and walkthroughs
  • Additional .NET development as required
Skills Required:
  • C# .NET 3.5/4.0
  • SharePoint 2007/2010 Workflows and Workflow customization
  • SharePoint 2007/2010 web parts
  • InfoPath 2007/2010
  • SharePoint Designer 2007/2010
  • Experience customizing SharePoint Master pages and layouts
  • Basic web skills (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • SharePoint deployment and configuration
  • Strong work-ethic, self-Motivated, focused, creative, enthusiastic
  • Works well in a team and independently
  • Ability to work with users while managing expectations and requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to Troubleshoot and research challenging SharePoint issues
  • ASP.NET, XML Web Services
  • JQuery, or similar frameworks
  • SharePoint 2007/2010 Farm Administration and Architecture
  • Windows Workflow Foundation
  • SQL Server 2005/2008
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Microsoft Office tools
Years of Work Experience:Minimum of five years development experience in developing websites, applications, workflows, database schemas and/or business processes. At least 2 years focused on SharePoint development.
Degrees Required:A four-year university degree in computer science/information systems or ten years of equivalent work experience
Designation(s):Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCTS)
